Week 9 update: Royal Oak-Clawson listed for Thursday, Shrine-Everest listed in Prep Bowl Cardinal slot
MHSAA.com lists Clawson vs. Royal Oak for Thursday at 6 p.m., but both teams' MaxPreps pages show Friday. MHSAA also lists Royal Oak Shrine vs. Clarkston Everest Collegiate in the 1:30 p.m. Prep Bowl game Saturday, plus more Week 9 games and kickoff times.

Clawson and Royal Oak are listed to play Thursday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. at Royal Oak High School, according to both teams' schedules on MHSAA.com. That is a day earlier than most of the county's final regular-season games.
The teams' MaxPreps schedules list the game for Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. Royal Oak's page was last updated Oct. 16, and Clawson's was updated Tuesday afternoon. The listings conflict, and the Journal has not confirmed which is correct. Fans should check with the schools before heading out.
Clawson is 6-2. Royal Oak is 4-4 and needs a win to reach five.
Prep Bowl: Shrine vs. Everest for the Cardinal title
MHSAA.com now lists Royal Oak Shrine against Clarkston Everest Collegiate at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Ford Field. Hoodline had reported that the 1:30 p.m. slot is the Catholic League Cardinal title game, as noted in our Week 9 preview, which said the matchup had not been confirmed.
Shrine is 8-0 and Everest is 7-1, according to MHSAA.com. Detroit Catholic Central (8-0) and Brother Rice (6-2) play at 7:30 p.m.

MHSAA.com lists Rochester Hills Stoney Creek's game as being at Ann Arbor Huron. Both Farmington's and Livonia Churchill's MHSAA.com schedules have Farmington playing at Churchill; Monday's list had the game at Farmington. Muskegon, which visits Clarkston, is 4-4.
Playoff points
The MHSAA had not posted official playoff-point standings on its website as of Tuesday night. The playoff field is announced Sunday, Oct. 25, at 5 p.m. on the NFHS Network.
