Pontiac All-Stars close season with road trips to Waterford, Brandon

Pontiac's football team has three games left, starting Friday at Waterford Kettering and ending Oct. 23 at Brandon. Here's the schedule.

Pontiac's football team has three Friday nights left in its season, and the first is in neighboring Waterford.

The All-Stars visit Waterford Kettering at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9. Kettering is 1-5 this season and lost a close one last week, falling 21-19 to Avondale on Oct. 2, according to Oakland Press scoreboards.

Pontiac enters at 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the OAA Gold after a stretch against some of the league's top teams, including OAA Gold leader Ferndale and third-place Royal Oak.

Remaining schedule

Pontiac's Week 8 game on Oct. 16 has not been posted, as with most Oakland Activities Association teams; those games are likely crossover matchups set by final league standings. The All-Stars close the regular season Oct. 23 at Brandon, which is 4-2 and second in the Flint Metro Stars.

Supporting the All-Stars

All three remaining games give Pontiac players, families and fans a chance to close out the 2026 season together. Friday's game at Kettering kicks off at 7 p.m.

Around the county

The regular season ends Oct. 23 across Michigan. The Michigan High School Athletic Association will announce playoff pairings on Selection Sunday, Oct. 25, and district games begin Oct. 30.
